The rich musical traditions of the University of Dayton (UD) Department of Music continue with its Faculty Brass Quintet. Faculty brass ensembles have a history at UD dating back several decades. In recent years, the faculty brass ensemble has been expanded to include a brass quintet with a traditional complement of players, allowing a fuller range of music to be explored and brought to audiences. Comprised of UD’s brass instructors, this ensemble shares great brass music with audiences on and off campus.
